About Me

I am an American freelance writer and researcher.  I am also a thinker and backyard philosopher.  I specialize in writing about travel, history, philosophy, and, as a compliment, entrepreneurship and leadership in non-profit organizations.  I am based in the West of Ireland.

I have always been somewhat a nomad.  Carrying just enough to get me through the journey, ready to follow a whim and caprice.  Now, here I am, relocating to the West of Ireland with a school book bag and a laptop.

My wife accepted a position here.  We have always wanted to live abroad, even included on our bucket lists.  We have no kids (yet).  We have two dogs, Iseolt (a 7 year old brittany) and Maude (a 9 month german short haired pointer/English pointer mix).  They are stateside for now (with the out-laws, I mean, in-laws on their farm), until the weather is warmer and we can fly them out.

My job here is to cook, clean, and be good company.

In general, I am a thinker.  I am the man who fell down a well thinking on the sky.  I philosophize.  In specific, I travel and hope to learn something.  I never shy away from a conversation and am deeply interested in how it all works.
